/dev/serial0

Postby RokenPrice » Sun Mar 18, 2018 2:02 pm

I'm hoping for some help here, because all my googling and trying has failed.

I have a Pi Lite hat, which works just fine with Raspbian (Debian Stretch), but I cannot get it going with Arch Arm.

1st problem: Adding enable_uart=1 to /boot/config.txt simply stops the boot process at all
2nd problem: It seems I need /dev/serial0 to communicate with the Pi Lite, but whatever I do I can't get it.

Using the 99-com.rules udev rule gets me serial1, but not 0, and I can't see why. If I test the rules myself, it should be there.

3rd problem: Probably as a result of 1 & 2, but the minicom test exits silently. I've tried minicom to various possibly likely interfaces with no luck.

Does anyone have the pi lite working on arch arm?
