Illegal instruction (core dumped)

Postby Supercat » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:07 am

After the update, some programs stopped running:
leafpad
geany - if you open the python script
netsurf - if open site
programs fall with an error:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'Illegal instruction (core dumped)')
Packages use the architecture arm6, I have an assumption that the problem is in some kind of module / library.
Help please solve the problem

I think there's some messing up with the way archarm is packaging for armv6h (wrong qemu binary during cross-compilation in chroot comes to mind, but it is a pure speculation of mine)

I've encountered something similar:

-edit-
if you manage to find some cli-only and lightweight tool that segfaults, i can inspect it further as i don't use any graphical session on my pi.

We don't use QEMU, we use real hardware for pre-parse, linking, and packaging.
