Raspberry pi, ffmpeg errors with motion(eye)

Postby jbodhorn » Sat Oct 15, 2016 2:57 pm

On boot I'm getting ffmpeg errors when I check the status of motioneye
From my journal:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
Oct 15 10:28:10 alarmpi motion[503]: [1] ffmpeg_avcodec_log: err{or,}_recognition separate: 1; 1
- flag 48
Oct 15 10:28:10 alarmpi motion[503]: [1] ffmpeg_avcodec_log: err{or,}_recognition combined: 1; 10001
- flag 48
Oct 15 10:28:10 alarmpi motion[503]: [1] ffmpeg_avcodec_log: intra_quant_bias = 0 inter_quant_bias = -64
- flag 48
Oct 15 10:28:10 alarmpi motion[503]: [1] ffmpeg_avcodec_log: Unsupported bit depth: 0
- flag 48
')
If I restart motioneye the errors go away and don't come back to till the next boot. I don't know a whole lot about codecs other than you need them for playing and recording video and sound. I'm not sure what these errors mean, if they are due to motion(eye) or if they are due to ffmpeg itself... I'll be searching for an answer throughout the day, but if anyone sees this and can point me in the right direction it's be a great help
