working headless on raspberry pi

Postby txe » Tue Oct 22, 2013 4:30 pm

Hi group
I've just installed archlinux on raspberry pi and wanted to work on it/with it headless. SSL works as expected but I'd like to use x remote desktop, does anyone know to tell me some how-to(s) please??
I've watched online some screencast on using xrdp from a remote windows (e.g. using the win default Remote desktop connection) (I use Fedora, though) but there's not a xrdp related package available for archlinux on arm6, I'm afraid.
At least, I couldn't find it with $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$pacman -Ss xrdp')
I'd appreciate any clue.

Xrpd isn't available in the normal repos, you have to download the tar from the aur repositories.
Here is the link from the archwiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xrdp

Here is the aur wiki

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository
used to be owned by me
Pink Pogo V2, Black Pogo V3, Zyxel NAS 325 v1,
used to be Adminstrator for
Goflex net, Black V3, Black V2
Now I have a couple of raspberry pi ( 3+ and 4)
