Pacman - Can't install package (core dump)

Postby edward81 » Fri Oct 24, 2014 5:00 pm

After the last system upgrade pacman crash every time I try to install any package (remote or tar.xz local) on my raspberryPI
This is the pacman output:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
alarm is up to date
aur is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
(return to shell here without errors)
')
this is what I get from journalctrl
>Oct 24 14:08:03 RaspberryPi systemd-coredump[25034]: Process 25033 (pacman) of user 1000 dumped core.

and the last working system upgrade
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '

Ok solved.
I manually downloaded and unpacked a fresh version of openssl-1.0.1.j-1 and now pacman is working again.
