How to Install the Latest Raspberry Pi Build on Windows?

Postby haroldjclements » Sun Jan 25, 2015 6:19 pm

Hello forum,

I see that the new ARM builds of Arch Linux (for Raspberry Pi) are no longer supplied in an .img format for Windows users to install the OS with DiskImager. To this end, could some kind soul point me towards instruction on how to set up an SD card using Windows and the .tar.gz. I don't want to be using Noobs and the only other instructions I can find assumes that you are setting up the SD card from Linux.

PS. I intended this post to be in the Raspberry Pi form, Please could an admin more it...Sorry!

Thanks in advance,
Harold Clements
