Samsung XE303C12 kernel panic after downgrading

Postby Linux789456 » Mon Sep 21, 2020 1:40 pm

I wanted to try downgrading to 3.8 kernel to get more features working, but after the flashing of boot partition and rebooting it gave a kernel panic.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown block(8,2)
')

I created all the partitions using the method listed in here

IDK why it renders image so strangley. Open it in another tab I guess.
