Tenda W311U not working after recent update

I just updated my pogo with pacman -Syu and now I can not load the rt2800usb module for my W311U wireless card . Any ideas on whats wrong?

when i do a modprobe -v i get the following
insmod /lib/modules/3.2.1-1-ARCH/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rt2x00/rt2800usb.ko.gz
when i do lsmod

As stated everywhere, please load all requites for that module prior to that module. This is the problem with kmod at this time.

compiled and installed the newest driver, copied the newest firmware to /lib/firmware loaded the rt2870sta module and it still doesnt work ... where would I find which prerequisites the rt2870sta module needs?

When is the last time you did an Syu ? This should no longer be an issue.

Just last night. Seems that if I do it the old way, modprobe rt2800usb , the module is missing. If I do it with modprobe rt2870sta the module loads but I get no wireless interfaces with iwconfig.

Which device is this for? And what vendor/device ids are reported by lsusb ?

no go downloaded the tarball , didnt configure anything, ran makepkg, then pacman -U to install .

The module is loaded "RT2870sta" but no interface is created.

Well, it's supposed to be under the other once, as noted, but there is the configuration example I wanted to point out.
