XE303C12 - How to start cups daemon on chroot

Postby narcin » Sun Nov 02, 2014 11:21 am

I've tried to install cups on arch using https://github.com/drinkcat/chroagh on my samsung chromebook - it is great, really fast comparing to install on sd card. Unfortunatelly I cant start cups deamon.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[marcin@localhost ~]$ sudo systemctl start cups
Running in chroot, ignoring request.
')

I found some information how to do it in ubuntu https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/wiki/Printing, but I think it is impossible to transfer this solution.

Please help,

Kind Regards,

Marcin.

Latest version of cups:

https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... ps.install
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')# important upgrade notice
echo "> systemd unit names have been renamed"
echo "> you should systemctl stop and disable cups.service and"
echo "> systemctl daemon-reload, start and enable org.cups.cupsd.service"
