[SOLVED] ODROID-C1 and I2C

Postby EmbeddedGuy » Mon Jan 12, 2015 1:04 pm

Hi everyone,

Before i begin installing Arch Linux on my ODROID id like to know if it supports I2C? And also is there any indication of what the maximal speed is?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it does support.
The kernel module is "aml_i2c"

Maximum speed that we tested so far is 100kHz.
But I believe that it should be able to do up to 400kHz.

I am using the linux/i2c-dev.h library and was wondering how i set the frequency of the I2C bus?
