[Cubox-i][Kodi]Audio buffer

Postby slycat » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:08 pm

When playing music or video the audio may become staticy after an arbitrary amount of time.

I haven't dove into the logs of Kodi but I do know that the box is under little to no-load during the time when the audio as issues. After a short while (<2 minutes) of the audio static, a small skip in the audio signal occurs and the audio goes back to normal. This happens regardless of file type; tested on flac, mp3, and ogg. All audio is sent through HDMI

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to solve it?

Reinstalled all audio codecs, still occurring
I have noticed that the playing does not need to continue for the buffer to clean up: I can stop the playback for a short while (presumably the amount of time it would have taken to clear up normally) and when resuming the audio is back to normal.

Could this be caused by something else besides kodi/codecs?
