archLinuxArm failed on pcduino 3b

Postby creep007 » Tue Oct 13, 2015 6:29 am

Hi:
I got a Pcduino 3b board which is a newer version than Pcduino 3.
pcDuino Family Chart is here:
http://www.linksprite.com/?page_id=782

It use a Gbit netcard while Pcduino 3 use 100Mbit. I followed the instructions on http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7/allwinner/pcduino3
and find the net card can not be recognised. Will archLinux support this board Pcduino 3b soon?

Another question is: How can I install archLinuxArm on the nand flash of Pcduino 3 board? It seems only sd card or SATA disk is supported by ArchArmLinux now. In fact the Pcduino 3(3b or 3 nano)board has a 4G nand flash itself.

Many thanks~~

No developers have one to verify functionality, so we can't officially support it.

No, ALARM does not support NAND installs, because the mainline kernel drivers do not support the NAND interface at this time.

We'd need more hardware information.
