Ugh, this sounds hopeless. What an irritating bug... Thanks for your help with this, you've gone above and beyond the call :D I'm going to throw in the towel and switch to something else. I've wasted too much time pouring through git comments and chasing down dead-end patches trying to fix this bug. You'd think they would have tested this before submitting that image...

Maybe you are doing something wrong, because the fixes are working (either editing the unit file or creating the new one suggested by WarheadsSE).

You have to use the image provided by scaleway and start a new instance, following my steps (or at least do the full system upgrade before regenerating the machine-id) and instead of editing the unit file do what WarheadsSE said, delete the unit file and create the new one.

You could also just replace the file with the original from our tarballs.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') was referring to the Scaleway C1 image, which ALARM has no control over.

Ah, I see. I'm using the image for the U3 (interchangable with the U2)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')aybe you are doing something wrong, because the fixes are working (either editing the unit file or creating the new one suggested by WarheadsSE).

You have to use the image provided by scaleway and start a new instance, following my steps (or at least do the full system upgrade before regenerating the machine-id) and instead of editing the unit file do what WarheadsSE said, delete the unit file and create the new one.

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I followed WarheadsSE instructions and I don't see where I went wrong.

The scaleway image is for the C1, right? I am using the U3. Will that image work?

necbot: if you are having an issue with anything other than the Scaleway C1 (scaleway.com), then this is NOT THE TOPIC for you to be seeking help in. Please start a new one.
