SECCOMP for odroid-xu kernel 3.4.104-2-ARCH

Postby cordeaux » Mon Aug 29, 2016 9:44 am

Hi
Systemd is rather unhappy without this option enabled since a recent update. Before I go to the effort of compiling a kernel with it enabled I'd like to ask 2 questions.

Is this going to be updated shortly with it enabled. i.e wait , do nothing and let the upgrade fix it.

Is anyone using more recent kernels successfully. If I go to the effort of building one a later version would be better.

This XU is the mysql and nfs centre of a zoneminder system. An XU3 and an XU4 do the motion detection part. This runs 4 HD cameras and 4 VGA cameras and was working reasonably well until a few recent upgrades killed the XU3 (Now Fixed) . It uses about 30 watts instead of the 180 watts the x86_64 pc was using.

Thanks for any help or advice you can offer

Cheers Phil

Phil, did you have success re-compile the kernel?

Any news about this problem with SECCOMP?
