C2 to mainline 5.2 Green Screen

Hello all, I have several Odroid C2's. I am trying to install the mainline 5.2 kernel to take advantage of the new open source Lima video driver.

I removed the original uboot and installed the uboot-odroid-c2-mainline with the linux-aarch64 kernel. I immediately got the green screen after reboot. This has consistently happened to me whenever i try to upgrade. It also happens on my Xu4 but i will try to stay on topic as we are in the ARMv7 forum. If you look at the end of the referenced post above, he was also facing the green screen. I googled around and it seems to be a common occurrence that people complain about the issue and then reference solutions in a forum post that has 100 pages of comments with no clear cut solution. Any help would be appreciated as I have been unable to find an answer. Thanks!
