Please help me recover my RasPi 3B+ install

Hello all,

Over a year ago, I did an update on my Raspi running Arch for ARM and it failed to boot properly. I think one of the firmware updates from AUR was the cause of the disaster.

After rebooting, I could not access the keyboard and I could not SSH into it. It was basically a brick. It basically boots to login prompt but there's nothing you can do: no keyboard, no ssh, no way to log back in. I unplugged it and forgot about it because I got a RasPi 4 soon after.

I would like to recover my install. I can mount the microSD card just fine on my Arch x86-64 but I'm not sure how to proceed.
Is there a way to recover this install somehow? I'd really like to avoid reformatting and reinstalling process.

Thank you so much!
