Alarm on CB5-311 - Fn keys not working

Hi; I succesfully installed Arch on my Acer CB5-311, NVidia K1, using RaumZeit script (http://www.tbi.univie.ac.at/~ronny/acer-cb5-311.html).

All works fine, except function keys; Ronnie's script seems to work partially (Search + down correctly gives PageDown), but I can't get Brightness Up and Down, Volume Up and Down, working.

I also noted that using MC (a textual filemanager) I get, pressing e.g. F5 (SuperKey+<the sixth key>, the same result I obtain normally pressing SHIFT+F5.

Any idea?

Hi Vitangelo,

it is true, that the special keys for display brightness and volume settings do not work out of the box. But they can easily be assigned their proper functions. I just updated my install instructions website accordingly.
