gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-* on Samsung xex303c12 - working config?

I've a fresh install. The mes-libgl driver works fine. I was hoping to switch to gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-dfb or fb for improved (??) video performance.

After installing either of those and modifying LD_LIBRARY_PATH so the libraries are found staring LXDM results in a blank screen.

If you have a working install, what advice can you provide?

Those are for iMX6's with the Vivante GPU
