1366x768 to lower res?

Postby RMJ » Tue May 09, 2017 3:45 am

I'm running arch on a Samsung Chromebook.

1366x768 makes everything too small for my eyes on this tiny screen.

I tried a lot of different modes but noone seems to "lower res".
Only 1280x800 worked and did not fullscreen, but used my screen partially.

:(

Does anybody have an idea what to do?

Here's what I added to the system in order to test (everything generated from cvt):
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '

Many desktop environment offer options to enlarge the UI (text font, window sizes, ...) without actually lowering the screen resolution.

I understand.
But doing it all manually, is horror!

I was trying something a little less time and resources consuming :)

Screen scaling will cause fuzzy text. In xfce you can go to Appearance -> Fonts -> DPI and adjust it.
