System hangs after last pacman -Syu

Postby GAZ082 » Tue May 30, 2017 10:58 pm

Well, that's it. I have 4-5 minutes of CLI until the system freezes out of the blue.

How can i check what's going wrong?

Cubox-i4
linux-imx6-3.14.79-3
Boots from SD card.

I understand I missed these important points but it's not necessary to be a jackass about that.

Edit: thanks for the help BTW.

Can you attach a serial? If so, dmesg output to the console, or a `journal -kf` might be useful to catch whatever is causing the hang.

Managed to get some stuff before the system hangs:

sudo journalctl -kf:

sudo dmesg:

Any chances you've got corrupted data?

Usually arch Linux booting from SD Card does not force check stuf... at least my /etc/fstab is empty

Try fsck in this card from another machine.

Ok, why not. Will check it and report back. However, have in mind the SD card is just used to load the uboot. The rest of the bootloading process is done in the HD.
