Package linux-armv7-cubox no soundcards found

I migrated from package linux-cubox (3.5.7-14) to linux-armv7-cubox (4.12.5-1), which installs a much newer kernel. But there is no soundcard available anymore.

Don't know if this is a relevant pacman log concerning my issue:
WARNING: No modules were added to the image. This is probably not what you want.

My question:
Is linux-armv7-cubox for the first gen. cubox? If so, what can I do to get the soundcard back again?
