Configuring schroot for armv6h on armv7h

I created an armv6h chroot consisting of base and base-devel in /chroots/armv6 on my RPi3 running ArchArm armv7h. I'm wanting to configure schroot to use the armv6h chroot but am unclear if this is possible. Is anyone doing this?
