SAMSUNG ChromeBook Audio (jack port)

Postby RMJ » Sun Sep 10, 2017 5:20 pm

Hello!

Since I starterd using Arch Linux in my Samsung Chromebook (snow version), I have been able to use audio by copying and installing files from the chromeOS, as described here: https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... chromebook

The problem is headphones! I can't get audio on the jack, no matter what I do. Could anybody walk me through some troubleshotting?

Tks.

Do you have PulseAudio installed? I have a samsung chromebook as well and installing PulseAudio broke my sound system.

Yes... I did turned on all headphones entries on alsamixer.

And yes, I'm using pulseaudio...

I have audio on the speakers, just not in jackphones. (FYI, if I boot on ChromeOS, jack port works ok).

Tks.
