Arch OS installion

Postby saber » Mon Nov 13, 2017 4:27 pm

I am trying to reuse my old android phone.
I wanted to remove android OS completely and
install ARM VERSION OF ARCH in the phone.

I don't want android in the phone anymore.

About my phone
android Jallybean,Chines, 1 GB ram,OTG,
SOC = 4xARM Cortex-A7 @ 1.121 Ghz ,Revision 2,
GPU= PowerVR SGX 544MP.OpenGL 1.1 & 2
Properly Rooted properly & factory unlocked.

So i have some questions

1.I don't want any network,bluetooth,camera(both),sound to work.

2.I want a desktop(lxdeor or other) in it.show the desktop in phone's display.

3.Don't care with battery life.

If my device Can't do it,But it can be done please let us know .

IF NOT.Please Let me Know what are the cause of it.What can & can't be done.

As i know ARM version of Arch linux should have driver for cpu and display,

I wanted to do it as Respberry PI.Flash the sd card with AN ARCH ARM image and insert
it in sd card port of the device.And boot from it.

I tried Linux deploy app but it not what i wanted.And also i tried to install MuiltiRom App but it is not supported in my device.It also not take a off the shelf ARCH ARM Image to install it on a device.I tried Ubuntu touch,But it is not a desktop linux.

I think TeamWin - TWRP recovery is the way to do it .But it will not take non-android image file.
Every one trying to do a linux In android phone .but i find only the Questions ,but no answer.

So Please ,Please.AS all the ARM & ARCH top devloper is in this site .please let us Know a Guide how to do it.
Thanks

In CPU-Z App it is showing = 4xARM Cortex-A7 @ 1.121 Ghz ,Revision 2.
I Think it is a MediaTech prossesor.
