Postby ocantodomelro » Tue Oct 09, 2018 7:39 am

hello, I have install archlinux rpi2 in raspberry pi3 V1.2
everything is correct but I don't like to see all time audit messages.
How simple disable permanently Audit messages, (not with "auditctl -e 0")
best regards,

I think there should be a command to add to the kernel line, to disable that procedure. Also there should be a systemd service to have the same sort.

Yeah, the audit messages are annoying... on the pi, append audit=0 to the line in /boot/cmdline.txt and reboot. For example:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw rootwait console=ttyAMA0,115200 console=tty1 selinux=0 plymouth.enable=0 smsc95xx.turbo_mode=N dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 kgdboc=ttyAMA0,115200 elevator=noop audit=0')

or
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'sudo systemctl mask systemd-journald-audit.socket')
and reboot

Using both is guarantee that no more nagging are coming out. Someone said that disabling the systemd service won't suffice.
