unable to update any packages

Hello all,

I installed Arch on my Asus C201P chromebook today. installation went great and I have wifi working. the issue I am having is when trying to install packages of any kind all I get is:
error: failed to commit transaction (download library error)
I am not entirely sure what this means. I am new to Arch and still learning Linux in general. Any help would be great.

I guess few causes:
$this->bbcode_list('1')

curl is broken

your chosen mirror is not working and drop you

the wifi connection is unstable.
