Bluetooth not working on Chromebook C201 (Rockchip)

Postby Time4Tea » Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:39 pm

Hi,

I have installed Arch ARM on a Chromebook C201, which has a Rockchip armv7 cpu. Everything works well, except I haven't been able to get the bluetooth to work (the onboard wifi works fine). I have posted details of the issue on Unix & Linux Stackexchange here, so I won't repeat all of the output, etc. However, to summarize:

$this->bbcode_list('1')
  • I have checked dmesg - the bluetooth adapter is being found and initialized on boot. I can't see any error messages.
  • The appropriate kernel modules seem to be being loaded.
  • I have bluez installed and I have confirmed that bluetoothd is running.
  • Bluetooth is not being blocked by rfkill.

  • However, if I start bluetoothctl and type 'list', no adapters are shown. Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be? Has anyone been able to get bluetooth successfully working on this device?
