Login service Failed - Cannot login on a new installation

Hello Arch team,
I have pulled the Arch-armv7-latest from the os repo, updated it and added boot partition for Bananapi R2 and tried to boot it.
It is booting but with one of this error.

[FAILED] Failed to start Login Service.
See 'systemctl status systemd-logind.service' for details.

I am not able to login from tty0(UART) nor tty1(HDMI) tried root/root and alarm/alarm but no luck.

I have read that some other users also faced similar issue. I have tried creating new logins, added the users to the wheel group changed passwords edited the shadow file still no luck.

Can anyone advice me on something?

I think this was because of the ext4 rootfs mounted on read only mode.

Solved it by mounting ext4 rootfs in read write mode from fstab
