No DVI after pacman -Syu

Postby aikonokia » Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:02 am

Hi all,

I started to use Archlinux on a Pandaboard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PandaBoard) 6 months ago. I installed Arch Linux 5.6.13-1 on March 2020. However, when I updated it (pacman -Syu) 2 days ago, the DVI was off. With this update, now it is running Linux 5.8.0-1.

Is this a feature of the new release? Howe can I turn on the DVI output?. Today, I can only access to Pandaboard by SSH or Serial communication.

Thanks,
aikonokia

Probably an adjustment to the kernel config is required to support your device.

This happened before:

It might be interesting to compare these and see if anything relevant shows up in one and not the other.
