CEC flooding my logs after upgrade

Postby potuz » Thu Apr 01, 2021 7:18 pm

Running on a Raspberry-Pi 2B

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
$uname -a
Linux host 5.10.25-3-ARCH #1 SMP Sat Mar 27 13:27:55 UTC 2021 armv7l GNU/Linux
')

The last libcec update was 02/24 (although I am not sure if this issue started to happen on that update or before) from libcec-rpi 6.0.2-2 -> 6.0.2-3

My last system update was 3/27 (this is after the last libcec update) and after that update I see the following two issues that I do not know if they are related:

1) My logs are flooded every two seconds with the message:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'cec-vc4: message 10 timed out')

2) On boot, with an external HDMI TV connected, it used to show in high definition mode the boot sequence. Now it's stuck in low res and then the TV claims that there's no signal. The only relevant message that I find in the logs is

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' vc4-drm soc:gpu: [drm] HDMI-A-1: EDID is invalid:')
And the EDID appears zeroed.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'vc4-drm soc:gpu: [drm] Cannot find any crtc or sizes
Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 90x30
vc4-drm soc:gpu: [drm] fb0: vc4drmfb frame buffer device
')

I'll appreciate any help.
