Getting WiFi to work on a Pandaboard

Postby kenkku » Wed Jun 12, 2024 4:53 pm

Hello!

I just got ARMv7 installed on my TI OMAP4 PandaBoard and everything works great, besides two things: display output and WiFi.

I don't really need the display, as I plan to use it via SSH, but I would ideally like to get WiFi setup. I had tried looking up guides, but looking at the Arch wiki I can't get the WiFi module detected, so I am not sure how to proceed. I am absolutely okay with reading tutorials and such, but I can't find any online which makes sense, as this is a really old board, haha. When I looked, most of the stuff seemed to be for other, older distros so I am not quite sure they would be applicable in my case.

Would anyone know where to look for resources? What should I try? Any help would be appreciated. Its not necessary, but I would also appreciate tips for getting the HDMI output working.
