Udoo board Video Resolution

Wondering if any has had any luck getting any resolutions to function outside what appears to be the default 1280x1024? Getting it to read /etc/edid.txt results in unfavorable behavior, and manually setting "setenv memroy udoo_hdmi_force_hpdetect" (as per Udoo memo) always results in default 1280x1024. Using xrandr gives fails to detect "gamma", so manually setting using xrandr hasn't helped any either. Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.
