find_inode failed for name=-l ls: Failed to scan jffs2 file

I am trying to load Arch on to our Gumstix Overo following the instruction set on this page, http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7 ... s-ui-tabs2, but when I boot I get the error "find_inode failed for name=-l ls: Failed to scan jffs2 file structure".

The only deviation from the instruction set is that I set the uid and gid to "mount -o uid=1000,gid=1000 /dev/mmcblk0p1 boot", if I don't I get the following error:
