That way works. Period. That's the reason it is the official method.

Ok thanks. I have succeeded it... Now I have problems with Xorg ( no screens detected) .. I tried to install the driver gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-x11 but they are many other with the same description.. Which one do I need to install and how do I Configure Xorg? I tried to follow the advices in the ArchWiki but these didn't work..

I think you should try installing xf86-video-fbturbo or xf86-video-fbdev.

That packages is just for the GPU/VPU binaries in relation to media decoding and OpenGL.

Hi nokton,

May you share what was wrong with your installation on the SD card ?

I am having the same kind of issues.

Here are the 2 different things I am trying (without any success) :

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
umount /dev/sdq1
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdq bs=1M count=4

fdisk -u /dev/sdq
(o n p 1 8192 w)

# or

parted /dev/sdq
(parted) mklabel msdos
(parted) unit s mkpart primary ext4 8192 -1
(parted) q

mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdq1
mkdir mnt
mount /dev/sdq1 mnt

tar -xf ArchLinuxARM-udoo-latest.tar.gz -C mnt
sync && sync && sync
umount mnt

dd if=u-boot-dual.imx of=/dev/sdq bs=512 seek=2
sync && sync && sync
')

When I boot the Udoo, I don't even get past the UDOO boot/splash screen.

What am I doing wrong ?
