UDOO Quad doesnt boot up

Postby emc2 » Fri Jun 06, 2014 10:00 am

Hello,

after update to current version of packages my udoo doesnt boot up.

It freezes at "Freeing init memory: 212K".

I am using stock kernel - Linux alarm 3.0.35-9-ARCH

This is update which i can install:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'e2fsprogs-1.42.10-1 filesystem-2014.05-2 gnupg-2.0.23-1gpgme-1.5.0-1 libsystemd-213-5 openssl-1.0.1.h-1 perl-5.20.0-2 systemd-213-5 systemd-sysvcompat-213-5')

block systemd 213 until we can get your device's old-ass kernel 3.0.35 updated to support cgroups xattr

I am running my Udoo Quad with v3.15-rc8 with added device tree patches from linux-next.
If you would like to use the new systemd futures, you could give it a try.

Would be better if UDOO people kept their tree up to date.

And the most stuff is mainline now.

Thank you for your answers.

I found that if i change kernel for linux-armv7 it works but i dont see GPIO.

maggu2810: Do gpios work with your kernel?

Yeah, we disabled xattrs on the cgroups until more devices get in line, or mainline. We really didn't want to do that.
