truble installing

i've followed all the steps several times and in several computers trying to install the cubieboard version and i receive the same error....
the sd card becomes unreadable, like a corrupt partition but i don't receive any error while doing the steps.
i've tried cubieez on the cubieboard itself and ubuntu, the latest, any idea of what is happening?
