Hi all. I have the Hummingboard i2eX (it is pretty much the same as the cubox-i2eX) I have Archarm installed on it and am trying to get emulationstation and retroatch working. I have tried to follow this guide:
https://github.com/petrockblog/RetroPie ... nux-Flavor
Here are the exact steps that I have done, everything seemed to compile successfully:
-pacman -S mesa xorg-server packer base-devel git sudo
-useradd -m -G wheel -s /bin/bash me
-passwd me
-visudo, add me to it, switch users
-packer -S retroarch-git (notice I did not use the other -rpi or -imx6 versions)
-cp /etc/retroarch.cfg ~/.retroarch.cfg
-packer -S libretro-snes9x-git
-packer -S libretro-nestopia-git
-packer -S libretro-gambatte-git
-packer -S libretro-vbam-git
-packer -S qtsixa
-packer -S emulationstation-git
-packer -S emulationstation-scraper
After all this, I tried running emulationstation, but I get the following error:
lvl0: Error initializing SDL!
No available video device
lvl0: Renderer failed to initialize!
lvl0: Window failed to initialize!
After a little more searching, it seems that the version of SDL2 (must have been installed as a dependency) does not have EGL support. see: https://github.com/Aloshi/EmulationStation/issues/264
It seems like there is a fix in AUR for the Raspberry pi, but not the Cubox
I am a newb to compiling and working with PKGBUILD files, but can anyone help? I am so close to having this done!
Thanks!
