service using I2C is blocking network device

I have made an service(systemctl) which is running the background executing I2C commands. In some situations a slave can be lost and therefor this is very likely to trigger some system I2C errors.

But when it occurs it seems to be blocking everything else, and basically i can't even access the microcontroller by WiFi.

How do i suppress this error?
