libftdi-dev for armv7h

Postby RobMeades » Tue Mar 31, 2015 9:34 am

Hi there. I'm looking for libftdi-dev, running Arch on a Hummimgboard i2ex, so armv7h architecture. I believe that libftdi-dev should be a part of libftdi but pacman says it can't find an armv7h version of libftdi for me.

Is it there, and I've just not configured pacman correctly to look for it, or does it need creating? Or do I need to do something else? FYI, I have tried building libftdi from here but I only get libftdi1 libraries from that so plainly there are some further steps I've not yet understood...

The libftdi package is available on all three architectures, at version 1.2-3

Well, that's odd. I only installed this system, and was fully "pacman -Syu"'d, on Saturday but pacman was looking for libftdi-1.2-1. I've just "pacman -Syu"'d once more and now it wants libftdi_1.2-3 and finds it. Must be on the bleeding edge I suppose...

Anyway, thanks for responding, all fixed now.

Yeah, ALARM rolls like a mad man. We push mirror updates as soon as they build.
