Raspberry PI 2 terminal lag with video-fbturbo-git

Hey

So, I've installed xf86-video-fbturbo-git from the alarm repo and then from source. In both cases Lxteminal window in lags pretty bad when moved around, when scrolling, and so on.

Has anybody else experienced this?

RPi 2 @ ArchLinuxarm v7.

video-fbturbo worked fine under Raspbian, no lxterminal lags whatsoever.

Rasbpian is using ARMv6 binaries, and is the exact same image that is on the Pi 1.

It is likely that there is something in the fbturbo that is not explicity optimizing for the Pi 2. There are many boards that use that driver that are not VC, but Mali.
