I recompiled the new version with GCC5.1 and -D_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI=1. You shouldn'e need to downgrade other libraries to get chrome to work anymore.

I know this makes me a n00b but can you point me in the right direction of what I need to do to install this? Do I need to make my own PKGBUILD or am I overthinking it?

Just put it on your device somehow and use pacman -U <path to package>

Hah, so yeah, I was majorly overthinking it. Works great on my RPi 2, will try it on the XU4 tonight.

Chromium is working on the XU4 aswell but now i'm hitting a snag with pepper flash. It does not show up in the plugins section in chrome (yes I expanded at the top right) all I see in the plugins is the PDF reader, nothing else.

When I try to reinstall chromium-pepper-flash I get this, which is similar to what the OP was getting.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[root@alarm alarm]# pacman -S chromium-pepper-flash
warning: chromium-pepper-flash-12.0.0.77-1 is up to date -- reinstalling

cat: : No such file or directory
sed: can't read : No such file or directory

')

When I remove the package and reinstall it it seams to install correctly, but still no plugin. (still find it odd that I can't reinstall)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[root@alarm alarm]# pacman -S chromium-pepper-flash

Disable all other flash plugins:
Type chrome://plugins/ in the adress bar and press Enter
Click on Details button on the top right
Click on Disable near all the Flash plugins except the first one

')

I have tried to go to the AUR packages but I haven't had any luck finding one that that will install on armv7h.
