kodi

Kodi doesn't work properly when it's compiled with GCC 5.2. Tested on Cubox-i 4Pro and Raspberry2

https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/issues/1222
http://forum.solid-run.com/kodi-xbmc-pl ... -s450.html

Any idea how to fixit? It's it Archlinux problem or Kodi's?

I just built 5.1 for imx, added video to library over smb and everything works. Never tried it before though. The inly thing that did NOT work was CEC, but that might be the crappy HDMI cable I was using.

We know that, Kodi builded with gcc 5.1 works, with libcec2 or libcec3.
I even tried build Kodi with gcc 5.2 without libcec supported and crashing too, it's not CEC problem.

Edit: current package kodi-imx 15.1-1 doesn't work on my Cubox-i, clean install week ago.
Same with kodi-rbp-15.1-1 on Raspberry Pi2

For me it works, only with empty database. Scraping works, when movies are scraped, kodi freeze and can't start again. :/

    * clean SD card for RPI2
    * update archlinux
    * install kodi-rbp unrar
    * start kodi
    * add some content into lib
    * manually stop scan after some item added
    * kodi work until i go to home screen, on home screen freeze and crash
    * loop kodi start

moonman: can you reproduce it?

I have no RPI2, and rpi B seems to work just fine. With my Cubox i4 I do see the errors with jpegs and such, but things get added to the library, I can restart kodi no problem and all the movies remain in the library. I will try to build a package without all the stack protector stuff. FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 has coused problems previously. See if it helps. I'll PM you when it's done.
