It looks like it is gcc-libs & glibc related:

Thanks for the feedback.

fsck reports no errors.

I get the same "file exists in filesystem errors" after doing a pacman -Su. A couple of days ago when doing a fsck, the system reported a couple of errors... to which I replied "Y" to fix...
