Hi all,
i miss some modules and would like to use a newer kernel. As stated here (https://github.com/umiddelb/armhf/wiki/How-To-compile-a-custom-Linux-kernel-for-your-ARM-device) it's possible to compile a kernel > 3.10.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$ curl -sSL https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/linux-4.8.tar.xz | unxz | tar -xvf -
$ cd linux
$ make multi_v7_defconfig
$ make -j 4 LOADADDR=0x00208000 uImage dtbs modules
$ sudo cp arch/arm/boot/uImage arch/arm/boot/dts/*.dtb /media/boot
$ sudo make modules_install
$ sudo make firmware_install')
My approach will be backing up my current emmc module and compiling the sources. Does it work and what should I pay attention to?
