Hello. First time posting, and it's a question.
I am contemplating buying this display for my Odroid C1+.
C1 3.2inch TFT+Touchscreen Shield
http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G142060963922
The question is whether it can be made to work under Arch Linux ARM. The product site very clearly states that "You will need an official Ubuntu image to configure it", but there's just no way I'm going to run Ubuntu, so I'd like to get it to work under Arch instead.
Instructions on their wiki (link at the bottom) say that you need a newer kernel and the modules spicc and fbtft_device. Are these available on ALARM as well? The rest of it seems just like generic X stuff.
It's a cool little display, it would be awesome if it just worked™.
Ubuntu instructions can be found here http://odroid.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=en:c1_lcdshield.
Any information / help is very much appreciated, thank you!
