Run from USB stick instead of sdcard

Postby hachel » Tue Sep 27, 2016 4:41 pm

Hi there,

I feel like this must have been asked a thousand times already but I can't seem to find any information on the internet.

I'd like to run archlinuxarm (or some parts of it) off a usb stick instead of sdcard since sdcards get so easily corrupted. First of all, is it possible? I figure booting has to still be off the sdcard but the rest of the system?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hachel

Put /boot on the SD card, and / on the USB. Viola.
