RPi 2 fails to boot after linux-rpi (6.12.21-1 -> 6.12.22-1)

My rpi failed to boot after upgrading to RPi 2 fails to boot after linux-rpi (6.12.21-1 -> 6.12.22-1).

I recovered by copying initramfs and kernel from install image.
After that i tried reinstalling the kernel package which caused it to fail to boot again.

Is the kernel package difference the only package you downgraded and then upgraded to confirm the bug? If so, the only change between these two is upstream (no config) so it should be reported. Any debug info saved to journctl? You can share these commits in the bug report:
