Raspberry pi 3B+ GPIO RGB lcd

Postby raul » Sun Feb 17, 2019 12:18 pm

Hello,

I have a raspberry pi 3 B+ and an 7inch LCD (parallel RGB)
I'm using arch linux for X64 (4.20.10-1-ARCH) - http://os.archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinux ... est.tar.gz

Does anybody managed to connect a parallel RGB interface to GPIO connector?
My problem is with the dt-blob.bin, I really don't understand how to generate it, or where I can find it.

p.s. I was able to start it with the rasbian (using the dt-blob.bin fron adafruit).

Thanks.

Rasbian is using armv7 other than aarch64. So just forgot that.

You need to install raspberry bootloader and Uboot to boot the aarch64 mainline kernel.

To create such rootfs, you need either use host pacman to install alarm package using -r option, or just go qemu-user-static and chroot into aarch64 rootfs, then install needed packages.
