Raspberry Pi 4 4GB USB not working

Hi,

I have the Raspberry pi 4 with 4GB and found on ubuntu there are issues with usb not working when having the 4GB version:

As I cannot seem to get usb working on this device, I guess it is the same problem here. I have ran pacman -Syu, but there are no updates, do I need to recompile the kernel myself?

When changing /boot/config.txt to total_mem=1024 usb works only when plugged in during boot
