Has anyone tried if the new kernel (5.15.61-2) fix the bug?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('JakeTri', 'C')reating ticket for this issue https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/5145

Nice, thanks. I see you're on armv7h. Is everyone experiencing this bug on armv7h? I am on aarch64 here and no issues.

I have switched from aarch64 (vanilla) kernel to linux-rpi about one week ago. I have had massive trouble with my USB RAID drive. Often the controller was not correctly accessed by the kernel - I have to unplug and plug the device during boot process. But this does not solve all issues: During the night some rsync processes to remote servers are running and during this runs randomnly rpi stops at writing to the RAID with a kernel panic. I think (but do not know) this is a bug in the usb driver part. Now I am running linux-rpi kernel on aarch64 and again an USB issue pops up. Two USB issues at two different places with two different kernels? Is there somebody poking hardly to the USB driver of kernel without testing? Maybe vanilla kernel would work too (I never have had such issues since years before)...

After todays update, my RPi2 failed to boot due to the kernel update of linux-rpi 5.15.56-4 -> 5.15.61-1 and my RPi4 failed to boot today due to the update of raspberrypi-bootloader 20220812-1 -> 20220823-1 (as discussed here). Completely unrelated problems it seems. It is sad this distro exhibits such historically poor quality control for kernel and bootloader updates.

We are just packaging upstream updates. If you believe there is a problem you tracked down to the bootloader, highly recommend you report it upstream. For the bootloader it's actually their firmware repo: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware ... aster/boot

You can open an issue here: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues

As corrobor asked a day ago, does anybody know if 5.15.61-2 fixes the problem? We can't "View Changes" from the package page because the link is broken (404).

Use github but you're not going to get much info beyond upstream commits and checksums: https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... /linux-rpi

I can confirm that linux-rpi version 5.15.61-3 have the fix for the network issue. Tested on both Pi2 and Pi3.
